The Denmark international made little impact in his first season after being signed by former Reds boss Roy Hodgson last summer. With Kenny Dalglish now possessing a wealth of talent in the centre of midfield, Poulsen is surplus to requirements. "My future needs to be resolved in August and preferably as soon as possible," Poulsen told Danish television station TV2. "I have to get to play matches regularly. It's obvious that I would really like to play football."
