The 27-year-olds have been integral members of the first-team squad this season and the club are keen to tie them down to longer deals. Defender Huth is said to have attracted the interest of Bundesliga clubs, although he has two years remaining on his current contract. Whelan, who signed from Sheffield Wednesday in 2008, is in negotiations to agree a four-year contract extension. The midfielder is currently with the Republic of Ireland squad as they seek to reach the European Championship in 2012. Pulis said: "We always look after the players who have done well for us and we want to keep Robert and Glenn here for a long time. "Everybody has to feel a part of what we're trying to achieve." After four defeats in their last five Premier League encounters, the Potters hope to revive their form at home to Queens Park Rangers this Saturday.
