The Ivory Coast international, who is set to spend January at the Africa Cup of Nations, joined Pompey on loan over the summer with a view to a permanent switch to Fratton Park at the end of the season. Lens revealed earlier this week that Portsmouth would have to honour their part of the agreement as Dindane had already made the 11 appearances required to activate the permanent deal. Pompey's financial difficulties mean they could find it difficult to comply and Lens president Gervais Martel confirmed legal action would be taken if necessary. Martel has now warned the Premier League outfit they will lose Dindane if they are unable to pay the fee agreed between the clubs, understood to be around £3.5million. Martel told L'Equipe: "I don't want to speak about details in that case but it is very clear - if they don't pay, I want to get my player back." Reports in the French press also suggest Monaco are monitoring the situation and could make a January move for Dindane.
