The Turkey Football Federation says it is introducing playoffs to determine the winner of the Turkish league.
Federation President Mehmet Ali Aydinlar says he hopes a playoff will increase club revenues and ''bring color'' to Turkish football, which has been marred by a match-fixing scandal.
Turkish media said the league's top four teams will be involved in playoffs.
More than 30 people, including league champion Fenerbahce's chairman, have been charged in a match-fixing probe involving 19 games last season. Fenerbahce faces relegation and the threat of losing its league title.

Turkey has pushed back the start of the season for more than a month until Sept. 9 because of the investigation.
