European soccer leader Michel Platini says he believes FIFA President Sepp Blatter is ''really motivated'' to clean up the sport.

The UEFA president spoke ahead of a two-day session where Blatter will present anti-corruption proposals to FIFA's executive committee.

Platini, who is also a FIFA vice president, says: ''I get the impression that Mr. Blatter is really motivated to change some things.''

However, Platini says Blatter had not shared details of his proposed reforms.

Platini acknowledges that Europe will have a strong voice in deciding if Blatter succeeds with his program, which could include reopening past allegations of corruption.

UEFA has eight members on the 21-man FIFA panel.
