Pennant has been linked with a move to Wigan by a Latics' fan site as Stoke prepare to complete the signing of Wolves winger Michael Kightly.
Pennant, however, has taken to Twitter to deny talk he could leave the Britannia Stadium.
"Just read most of the tweets and I can honestly say this is the first time I've heard anything about me and Wigan," he said.
"And I even spoke to my agent last night - chit chat - and he never mentioned a thing either so have no idea where you've heard that from, just rumours probably because we are getting Kightly."
