Barnet have announced the signing of defender Krystian Pearce on a three-month loan deal from Notts County.

The 22-year-old made 31 appearances for the Magpies last season but has not featured so far this term after being placed on the transfer list by manager Keith Curle.

The former England Under-19 international will travel with the rest of the Bees squad for the match at Bradford this weekend.

Pearce revealed that the coaching staff at Underhill was a manager factor in completing the move.

He told the club's official website: "It was Paul Fairclough and Mark Robson that convinced me to join and after hearing so much positive talk about the club I'm glad the deal is done and I can't wait to get started.

"I'm strong, good on the ball and I always give my all. I want to play games and do well for the team."
