Brazil's doctor says striker Alexandre Pato will likely recover from a shoulder injury to be available for next month's Copa America.

Doctor Jose Luiz Runco says the right shoulder injury Pato sustained in the Serie A final round with AC Milan will not keep the striker from participating in the South American championship in Argentina.

He also said on Thursday that young playmaker Paulo Henrique Ganso should recover from a right thigh muscle injury and be available for Brazil's title defense.

Brazil, seeking its third straight Copa America title, will play a friendly against the Netherlands in the central city of Goiania on Saturday.
