Parma has extended the contract of former Italy coach Roberto Donadoni for two more years.
The deal will keep the former standout player for AC Milan with Parma through to the 2014-15 season.
Donadoni joined Parma in January and helped the club to an eighth-place finish last season, winning a club-record seven consecutive matches at one point. The squad is tied for ninth after eight matches of this campaign, 13 points behind Serie A leader Juventus.
Donadoni coached Italy to the quarterfinals at the 2008 European Championship, losing to eventual winner Spain on penalties.
