Parma has fired coach Pasquale Marino after its 2-1 loss at home to last place Bari on Sunday.

Parma chief executive Pietro Leonardi said, ''We don't want any more excuses.''

Marino signed a year-long contract in June 2010, having previously coached Catania and Udinese. Parma is 15th in the Serie A, two points above the relegation zone in its second season since returning to the top flight in 2009.

Alessandro Parisi gave Bari the lead in the 64th. Amauri equalized in the 80th, but Edgar Alvarez scored an injury time winner.
