Palmeiras says Danilo moving to Udinese in July

Palmeiras says it is finalizing a deal to sell defender Danilo to Udinese in July.

Palmeiras says Danilo discussed contract details in Italy over the weekend and is set to sign his transfer in the coming days.

Palmeiras says on Wednesday it will keep Danilo until July, however, when the European transfer window reopens.

Financial details on the transfer have not been released.

Danilo has been playing with eight-time Brazilian champion Palmeiras since 2009. He has seven goals in 132 matches.
