The Honduras international has managed just seven appearances for Stoke since his summer switch from Tottenham due to a knee injury. Palacios is pushing for a place in the side for this weekend's clash with Blackburn, as Stoke look to end a run of four successive Premier League defeats. "I am 100 per cent and at the manager's disposal, but it is up to Tony Pulis to put me in the team," said Palacios in the Stoke Sentinel. "I am happy at Stoke. I came here with a bad injury, but now I'm ready to play. "The players at Stoke are very good, so I have to fight for my place." Palacios has also backed Peter Crouch to start firing again and he has dismissed ideas that his return to the side could help his former Tottenham team-mate to get back among the goals. "Peter doesn't need my help. He's a very good player," added Palacios. "I need Peter Crouch, not the other way around."
