Palacios and Alvarez out of Honduras squad

New Honduras coach Luis Fernando Suarez included nine foreign-based players in his squad for friendlies this month against South Korea and China.
Two of the country's best-known players - Wilson Palacios of Tottenham and Edgar Alvarez of Bari - were left off on Thursday because of injuries.
Monaco forward Georgie Welcome and defender Maynor Figueroa of Wigan head the list of foreign-based players, which also includes Wigan's Hendry Thomas.
Honduras, which reached the World Cup last year for only the second time, plays South Korea on March 25 and China on March 29.
Suarez, who guided Ecuador to the 2006 World Cup in Germany, replaced Mexican Juan de Dios Castillo this week. He resigned after leading Honduras to the Central American championship in January.
Castillo took over for Reinaldo Rueda of Colombia, who steered Honduras to the World Cup in South Africa.
