Osvaldo joins Boca Juniors on loan from Southampton
MILAN --
Italy international Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has joined Boca Juniors on loan, bringing to an end a troubled period for the Argentine-born forward at Inter Milan.
A brief statement on the Inter website on Thursday confirms the move, which was made ''in agreement with Southampton.''
Osvaldo joined Inter on a season-long loan deal from Southampton in August, but was involved in a public spat with strike partner Mauro Icardi last month, and was then suspended by the club after he disappeared for two days without permission.
The forward was suspended by Southampton last year following a training ground incident with teammate Jose Fonte, and spent the second half of the season on loan at Juventus.
Osvaldo was also kicked off Italy's squad for the 2013 Confederations Cup for insulting his club coach at Roma.
