Germany international David Odonkor has been handed a trial by Scottish champion Rangers after being released by Spanish club Real Betis.
The 27-year-old Odonkor, who is a pacy right winger, was included in the Germany squad for the 2006 World Cup and 2008 European Championship. He has made 16 appearences for his national team, scoring once.
He joined Betis in 2006 in a ?6 million ($8.5 million) transfer from Borussia Dortmund of Germany, but a series of knee injuries limited his playing time for the Spanish club.
