N'Zogbia appeared destined to be on his way out of the DW Stadium over the summer, with a clutch of clubs chasing his signature. Birmingham came closest to stealing him away from Latics, but saw a deal fall through at the last minute. N'Zogbia has now revealed that he was not all that interested in moving to St Andrew's anyway and is pleased to still be at Wigan. He has done little over recent weeks to suggest that he sees his long-term future with the club, but has assured supporters that he will continue to give 100% for as long as he remains on their books. "Now the transfer window has closed, we all have to try to forget about what has happened in the past," N'Zogbia told the Wigan Evening Post. "I was close to going to Birmingham but, in the end, I just wasn't interested enough. "It wasn't the right club for me and I wanted to stay with Wigan. "I'm fine now, happy with the situation, and just want to get back onto the field and play my football."
