German media reports say Borussia Dortmund will hold a joint press conference with Nuri Sahin on Monday, when the Turkey midfielder will announce his departure to Real Madrid.
The Ruhr Nachrichten newspaper says the Spanish club will pay ?10 million to trigger a release clause in Sahin's contract.
Kicker reported Dortmund's chief executive, Hans-Joachim Watzke, as saying Thursday, ''we wouldn't accept such clauses today.''
Sahin was an integral part in Dortmund's impressive run to the Bundesliga title. He made his league debut in 2005, when he became the youngest player to play and score in the Bundesliga, before spending the 2007/2008 season on loan at Dutch side Feyenoord.
The reported release clause was included when Sahin extended his contract with Dortmund in 2009.
