Norwich says a deal has been agreed with Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon to sign Netherlands striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel in the offseason.
The 24-year-old Van Wolfswinkel will join on a four-year contract on July 1, subject to paperwork being completed. The transfer fee wasn't disclosed.
Norwich manager Chris Hughton says Friday that ''Ricky's profile is a perfect fit for us - he's young, ambitious and a proven goal-scorer.''
Van Wolfswinkel has scored 82 goals in 188 appearances for Sporting and Dutch clubs Utrecht and Vitesse Arnhem.
