Norwich extended its unbeaten run in the English Premier League to 10 games by beating Wigan 2-1 from Wes Hoolahan's second-half winning goal on Saturday.

After Wigan forward Shaun Maloney equalized in the 51st minute to cancel out midfielder Anthony Pilkington's 15th-minute opener, Hoolahan struck in the 64th to give Norwich its fifth straight home win in the league at Carrow Road.

Norwich hasn't lost in the league since going down 4-1 at Chelsea on Oct. 6.

Norwich provisionally rose five places to seventh in the standings, two points from the last Champions League place in manager Chris Hughton's first season at the club.
