Finland-based players Chris James and Kris Bright have been included in the New Zealand team which will take part in the four-nation OSN Cup in Saudi Arabia next month.

Bright, a striker who plays for IFK Mariehamn, and James, a midfielder with Kuopion Palloseura, were named by coach Ricki Herbert on Wednesday in an 18-man team for the tournament.

Besides New Zealand and host Saudi Arabia, Trinidad and Tobago and the United Arab Emirates will also play in the tournament.

James takes the place of Australia-based midfielder Michael McGlinchey, who is unavailable because of the impending birth of his first child, while Bright replaces injured striker Shane Smeltz.
