New Mexican generation making waves

EFRAIN JUAREZ
U.S. national team fans will remember him for the amazing goal he scored against the United States in 2009 World Cup qualifying, but the 22-year-old midfielder has gone on to earn a transfer move to Scottish powerhouse Celtic. He wasted no time making an impact for Celtic, scoring two goals in European competitions before the Hoops crashed out.
JONATHAN DOS SANTOS
The younger brother of Giovani, Jonathan made headlines when his exclusion from the World Cup team nearly led to Giovani quitting the team. Jonathan has begun making his own headlines as a player, earning his first appearance for the Mexican national team while plying his trade at FC Barcelona. Still just 20 years old, Dos Santos has established himself as a promising prospect for the Spanish champions.
HECTOR MORENO
The 22-year-old central defender left Mexico for Europe in 2008, signing with Dutch club AZ Alkmaar. He has settled in well with the club and has begun earning an increased role with the national team, a role that included a place on the 2010 World Cup squad.
