The newest team in Australian football's A-League will be known as the Western Sydney Wanderers and has revealed its playing strip of hooped red and black shirt and white shorts.
The Wanderers will play in the A-League for the first time next season, bringing the competition back to its full complement of 10 teams after the withdrawal last season of the Gold Coast.
Club officials revealed the team name, logo and colors on Monday and named Parramatta Stadium in Sydney's west as one of its home venues. The team will make its A-League debut against Central Coast at Parramatta on Oct. 6.
New teams have often taken time to settle into the A-League, but coach Tony Popovic said he expected Western Sydney would be immediately competitive.
