Lamar Neagle scored in the 57th minute to give the Seattle Sounders a 2-1 victory over Chivas USA in Major League Soccer on Sunday.

Brad Evans also scored for the Sounders, who are now unbeaten in club-record equaling eight straight games at home. Seattle's only home loss was 1-0 to Montreal in the season opener.

Erick Torres found the net for Chivas in the 16th minute.

Nigerian forward Obafemi Martins helped set up Neagle when he sprinted down the right side to collect the ball just inside the box, passed it to Mauro Rosales, who then tapped it to Neagle who fired it past goalkeeper Dan Kennedy into the back left corner of the net from 13 yards out for his fifth goal of the season.
