Naughton: We don't fear anyone

The full-back, who is on a season-long loan from Tottenham, has been impressed by the managerial style of Paul Lambert and admits he is loving life in Norfolk. Norwich have already put in some fine displays on the road at Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool - and Naughton is expecting another big performance against the league leaders. "There's no fear, no matter who we are up against," said Naughton. "At Anfield the manager said 'there'll no be no rolling over here, no shying out of anything because of who they are. We are going to fight for every single ball.' By the time he had finished we all felt we could get something out of the game and we did. "It was the same at Old Trafford, where we just didn't have any luck at all. It could have been intimidating going there as a newly-promoted side, but we more than held our own. That shows the belief the manager has instilled in us. "The gaffer is what I'd call a no-nonsense manager. He gets the maximum out of every player, never lets any sloppiness creep in and always pushes you to keep improving." The 23-year-old now has 12 games under his belt for the Canaries and admits he has no intention of playing a bit-part role at parent club Spurs behind England right-back and close friend Kyle Walker. He said: "Kyle and I became good pals at the Sheffield United Academy and our families go back even further. It's a bit ironic that he's now effectively standing in my way at Tottenham. "I don't begrudge him his place one bit because he's playing really well and I can have no complaints. I may have to assess things at the end of the season because, first and foremost, I want to be playing Premier League football." Norwich head to Lancashire hoping to become the first Premier League team this season to take a point off City at Eastlands.
