The midfielder was ruled out of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Wolves after suffering a hamstring strain, but he is expected to resume training by the end of the week. "Youssouf is progressing very well," said Hodgson. "We are still monitoring him and doing it under controlled circumstances, which is always the case with slightly strained or pulled muscles. "They want to be 100 per cent certain before they throw him in, but but they are promising me that by Friday he should be back with the group." Hodgson is also hopeful that Graham Dorrans, Jonas Olsson and Scott Carson will be available for the trip to the Britannia Stadium. The Baggies boss added: "We had a problem with Scott Carson at the weekend when he fell sick at the last minute and was knocked out for a couple of days. "On Wednesday we lost Jonas with a throat bug, but the doctors are quite confident that it's a very short-term thing, but he didn't train. "Graham got a knock but even the day after, when they did the warm-down, he wasn't suffering particularly from it. He was 100 per cent so the injury situation is looking very good."
