World Cup Golden Boot winner Thomas Mueller says he would happily sign a 10-year contract at Bayern Munich if it was ever put on the table.

Mueller, who can operate as an attacking midfielder, as a second striker or on either wing, bagged five goals in South Africa.

The 20-year-old's displays led to admiring glances from top clubs around the world but the player himself is keen to remain at the Allianz Arena.

"The most important thing for me is continuing my career and making the most of my chances at Bayern Munich," Mueller told BILD.

"If I am getting better, Bayern will also be getting better. That is why I do not spend my time thinking about a transfer.

"I would be glad if I could remain a player of Bayern Munich for the next 10 years overall. If someone would come up with this, I am going to sign that paper.

"Everyone is glad when their boss wants to hand out a raise in wages. I am, too.

"What I like most about this is that my debut season in the professional game is going up in the club's estimation. This is an honor for me."

Mueller's current contract is due to expire in June 2013.
