Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has been named Italy's coach of the year for 2009 while former Nerazzurri striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic received the top player accolade.
The awards, known as Italy's football 'Oscars', reflected performances in the 2008/2009 campaign, when Mourinho led Inter to a fourth successive Scudetto and Ibrahimovic netted 25 Serie A goals before his summer switch to Barcelona.
Inter president Massimo Moratti said on Sportitalia of Ibrahimovic's triumph: "It is a great pleasure because I love him and I hope he succeeds in Barcelona as he did here in Milan.
"Ibrahimovic has given us two or three championships. I hope he does well in Barcelona, except when he meets us."
