Morelia maintains fine start to season

Morelia's excellent start to the Clausura continued as they claimed a 3-0 win at bottom side Queretaro.
The league leaders effectively killed the game off inside 17 minutes thanks to goals from Rafael Marquez Lugo and Miguel Sabah.
Edgar Lugo added a third six minutes into the second period as Morelia maintained their two-point lead at the top over Tigres, who beat Atlante 1-0.
Lucas Lobos scored the only goal after 13 minutes.
Oribe Peralta scored four as Santos Laguna stayed within three points of the leaders with a 5-2 win over 10-man San Luis.
Peralta already had two to his name when Alfredo Moreno was sent off in the 22nd minute, but San Luis kept themselves in the game when Facundo Pereyra scored from the penalty spot five minutes later.
Remarkably, the 10 men drew level through Wilmer Aguirre four minutes before the break, but Herculez Gomez re-established the hosts' dominance in the 54th minute before Peralta completed his hat-trick in the 72nd minute and pouched a fourth seven minutes later.
Two goals from Christian Gimenez helped Cruz Azul to a 4-3 win over Monterrey.
Gimenez netted a penalty in the 34th minute to cancel out Aldo De Nigris' opener, then put his side ahead for the first time in the 53rd minute, before Omar Bravo made it 3-1 four minutes later.
Substitute Humberto Suazo pulled one back in the 69th minute but Emanuel Villa pounced eight minutes from time to kill off any thoughts of a comeback, rendering Jose Maria Basanta's last-minute effort a mere consolation.
The day's other game, between Atlas and Pachuca, was goalless.
