Defender Cristian Molinaro has joined Stuttgart on loan from
Juventus until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old Italian signed the loan deal after passing a
medical. Stuttgart said Tuesday it has an option to keep Molinaro
beyond the end of the season but did not give further details.
Molinaro says he is "looking forward" to playing in the
Bundesliga.
Stuttgart is 15th in the 18-team Bundesliga, and new coach
Christian Gross is aiming to lift the club away from the relegation
zone.
Molinaro said "the team is better than its current position
in the table."
Stuttgart managing director Horst Heldt says it was
"important that we were able to sign an experienced player for this
position who will help us immediately."
