Serie B side Modena has introduced an ethics commission made up of players to insure it doesn't get penalized for match-fixing again.

Club President Maurizio Rinaldi and creator Antonio Caliendo introduced the system Wednesday, which stipulates that four players selected for one-month terms will have to declare after each match if they noticed any irregularities or external parties coming into contact with the squad.

Modena was penalized two points this season for an attempted fix by one of its former players in 2010-11.

Italy has been hit by two match-fixing scandals in the past six years.

Caliendo, a technical consultant to the club, says he hopes other clubs follow suit.
