Mills: We were second best

York boss Gary Mills admitted his side were second best for the first time this season in the weekend defeat to AFC Wimbledon.
The Minstermen, promoted back to the Football League via the Blue Square Bet Premier play-offs in May, harbour hopes of a second successive promotion this season and lie only three points adrift of the top seven after 17 games.
But Mills said after his side's 3-0 home defeat to the Dons: "As a team we were second best, absolutely second best. We started poorly and it's the worst we've started for a long time, hence why we've lost.
"It's a disappointing day for us and we've not had many recently and it's hopefully a one-off. We didn't get going and we've got what we deserved, which is absolutely nothing."
Mills, whose side take on the Dons for a third time in 10 days on Monday night in an FA Cup first-round replay, added: "Every game this season we could have won and this is the first game when we've not deserved anything."
