The Reds will pay an initial £1.2million for the striker, who becomes Steve McClaren's fifth signing of the summer. The Forest boss believes he has completed a shrewd piece of business, with 24-year-old Miller having proven himself at Championship level in the past. McClaren told the club's official website: "Ishmael is still a young player but has loads of experience and a lot to prove. "He wants to play, which is why he's coming to Forest. "He's the type of player we want at the club; he's young and ambitious and fits the criteria perfectly." Miller began his career with Manchester City, making 17 Premier League appearances and scoring one goal before moving to West Brom on loan. A successful six-month spell at The Hawthorns led to the Baggies making his move permanent in January 2008. A cruciate knee ligament injury hindered his progress in the Midlands, but he did manage 14 goals in 60 appearances for West Brom. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers and helped Neil Warnock's side secure promotion to the Premier League.
