Diego Milito will make sure he is good and ready before returning to action with Inter Milan.

The Argentina international is recovering from a hamstring strain in his left leg he sustained earlier this month.

"I am improving," Milito said. "I am well but as (Inter) coach Leonardo said, I don't have to be too anxious to return.

"I have to recover well.

"I am so looking forward to play but the common aim is for me to be available until the end of the season.

"I don't know if I will be able to play in the Champions League return leg in Munich (on March 15) but I am calm and my only thoughts are to recover and give my best to the team."

After an extremely successful 2009-10 campaign, in which Milito helped the Italian giants to the treble by scoring both goals in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich, the 31-year-old has had a nightmare with injuries this season.

Milito has scored five goals in 16 league appearances for Inter this season.
