Milan have no interest in Puyol

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted the club are not interested in signing veteran Barcelona captain Carles Puyol, and are instead focused on younger players.
The Rossoneri have been linked with a move for Puyol after the Barca stalwart admitted he is a fan of the Serie A outfit, but Galliani says age is not his side.
"Carles is a good friend of Milan and we know how much he loves this club after Barca," he told Mundo Deportivo.
"But we have to say that our current plans do not include signing any older players, despite Puyol's ability, and will focus on youngsters."
However, Galliani did admit that Milan would jump at the chance to sign some of Barcelona's younger players should they become available, with rumours of a move for Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez in the pipeline.
"Barca have a number of young players that would interest us if they were to become available," Galliani added.
"We talk to them informally on occasion and Barca and Milan maintain an excellent relationship."
