The Belgian international initially feared it may take him some time to adapt to life in England after signing a five-year deal with Sunderland last June. But the 22-year-old former Sint-Truiden stopper has revealed his Black Cats team-mates have help him adapt quickly to life in Wearside. "Settling in was easy. I spoke a little of the language, which really helps," Mignolet said on the official Sunderland website. "I am not that far away from Belgium here - only an hour flight - and my family are quickly here too. I have been made to feel welcome by everyone at the club, from the players to the supporters. "We have a number of foreign players who speak other languages I can speak. Everyone has been very good to me."
