Humberto Suazo of Chile and Paraguay's Osvaldo Martinez each scored Saturday to lead undefeated Monterrey to a 2-1 victory over Santos.

After 13 matches, Monterrey is the only unbeaten club in the Mexico Apertura tournament.

In other results on Saturday, Jaguares defeated Pachuca 2-0, Queretaro beat 1-0 against Estudiantes, Tigres downed Pumas 2-0 and Atlas overcame Atlante 3-1.

Suazo scored in the fourth minute before Christian Benitez equalized for Santos in the 33rd. Martinez found the winning goal in the 48th.

Monterrey has 29 points, edging ahead of Cruz Azul as the overall leader in Mexico. Cruz Azul has 28 points and could regain the lead with a victory Sunday against Morelia. In the group leadership, Monterrey heads Group 1, San Luis leads Group 2 with 22 points, and Cruz Azul leads Group 3.

Brazilian Juninho scored in the 22nd in Tigres' win, while Damian Alvarez added the clinching goal in the 77th.

Sergio Blanco of Argentina scored the winner for Queretaro in it's 1-0 win over Estudiantes.

Jorge Rodriguez of Uruguay and Brazilian Danilinho got the goals in Jaguares' win over Pachuca.

Alfredo Moreno scored twice in Atlas' 3-1 victory over Atlante.
