Mascherano expects wholesale changes at Barcelona this summer

Javier Mascherano believes that there could be wholesale changes at Barcelona with Saturday's title showdown with Atletico Madrid being the last game some stars may play for the club.
The Argentina international has been cited as one of the Blaugrana squad tipped to leave Camp Nou this summer and he recognizes a clear-out could be on the cards.
Barca are three points behind Atletico going into the weekend showdown, but Mascherano thinks that even winning the title will not prevent a change in personnel.
"The match against Atletico will be electric," he told Canal Plus.
"We just have to enjoy the build-up during the week and then the game itself; above all because it will decide the league title.
"Also, it could be the last game that some players play for Barca."
Victor Valdes and Carles Puyol have already declared that they are leaving the Catalan giants, while the Spanish media have gone into overdrive about the summer changes.
A central defender is thought to be a priority and Mascherano could make way for a new arrival after being converted by Barca from a holding midfielder into a back four stalwart.
