Stuttgart striker Ciprian Marica and Werder Bremen forward Hugo Almeida have each been banned for three Bundesliga games after both were sent off on Saturday.
The bans were imposed Monday by the football federation and mean both won't play again before the winter break.
Almeida scored all three goals for Bremen in a 3-0 win over St. Pauli before being sent off for retaliation. Marica was sent off for insulting the referee shortly after scoring an early goal for Stuttgart in a 4-2 loss at Hamburger SV.
