The 32-year-old, who currently has a calf injury, has featured 15 times in the Premier League this term as the Red Devils go for a record 19th title. Ferdinand recently revealed he wants to keep playing at the top level until he is 40 but admits he would also be interested in managing one day - with the recently retired Gary Neville as his ideal number two. The centre-half told Sabotage Times: "If the opportunity comes along then I'll definitely have a look at it, but I've got a while left yet before I have to contemplate it." As regards his ideal number two, he added: "Gary Neville, he'd be perfect. He'd cross the Ts and dot the Is." But Ferdinand insists he will not be following the example of former United team-mate David Beckham in plying his trade abroad before he retires. He said: "I won't be playing abroad, this is me. I am at Man United and I love it here. Why take a step backwards?"
