Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson says it has signed a four-year deal with 18-year-old Crewe midfielder Nick Powell.
Ferguson says on Tuesday that Powell is an ''exceptional talent'' and will join the club next month. Powell comes to Man United from Crewe, a club that plays in the third tier of English football.
Powell is also a former England Under-18 international.
Ferguson says, ''He has a lot to offer and we are all looking forward to working with him.''
