Malaga says Julio Baptista's nagging right foot injury will keep the Brazilian forward sidelined for another month.
The 30-year-old Baptista hasn't played since Oct. 1, when he scored his only goal of the season to give Malaga a 3-2 win over Getafe.
The Spanish club says surgery has not been ruled out.
Sixth-place Malaga has only won once in five games since Baptista was injured.
