Madrid looks to Mourinho to snap Copa del Rey funk

Real Madrid will play Murcia in the Copa del Rey as coach Jose Mourinho looks to turn around the Spanish team's poor fortunes in the domestic cup competition.
Madrid has lost to third-tier clubs in each of the past two campaigns with Alcorcon eliminating the team in the round of 16 last year, when Manuel Pellegrini was coach. Madrid, a 17-time Copa del Rey champion, hasn't won the title since 1993.
Murcia is coached by Inaki Alonso, who guided lower-tier Real Union to a win over Madrid two seasons ago.
Barcelona, a record 25-time champion, will play third-division club Ceuta as all 20 topflight teams were entered into Wednesday's draw alongside 12 from the lower divisions. Defending champion Sevilla plays Real Union.
The four matchups featuring topflight clubs are: Real Sociedad vs. Almeria; Osasuna vs. Deportivo La Coruna; Hercules vs. Malaga; and Mallorca vs. Sporting Gijon.
Also, it's: Logrones vs. Valencia; Poli Ejido vs. Villarreal; Universidad de Las Palmas vs. Atletico Madrid; Portugalete vs. Getafe; Real Betis vs. Zaragoza; Xerez vs. Levante; Cordoba vs. Racing Santander; Alcorcon vs. Athletic Bilbao; and Valladolid vs. Espanyol.
The first leg will be played on Oct. 27 with the return on Nov. 10.
