Macedonia's football federation has dismissed coach Mirsad Jonuz following disappointing results in qualifying for Euro 2012.
A statement released on Saturday by the National Football Federation (FFM) says its executive board ''has reached a unanimous decision to dismiss Mirsad Jonuz as a coach of the national team.''
Macedonia languishes in fifth place in Group B, with 4 points, ahead of only pointless Andorra, with one win, one draw and four losses from six games. Its latest game was a 2-0 home loss to Ireland two weeks ago.
Jonuz, 49, took over the national team in May 2009, replacing Slovenian Srecko Katanec.
