RIO DE JANEIRO --
Former Brazil and Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo covered his mouth with tape in front of journalists to protest against the Rio de Janeiro state football federation.
The Flamengo coach was complaining about a sports tribunal ruling that suspended him for two matches because he criticized the federation's decision to limit team squads in the regional tournament, preventing the top clubs from testing young players ahead of the Brazilian league.

Luxemburgo said he will not back down against the federation, but won't speak again until he has his rights back.
