Brazil striker Luis Fabiano will not play in next week's friendly
against Ireland because of a pulled pectoral muscle.
The Brazil football federation says on its Web site Friday
that it has yet to decide if a replacement will be named. The
statement didn't say how the Sevilla forward was hurt.
Fabiano didn't travel to Moscow this week for his Spanish
team's 1-1 draw with CSKA in the Champions League.
In December, Fabiano hurt his ankle and was out for several
weeks.
Robinho, Adriano and Nilmar are the three remaining strikers
in the Brazil squad for the Ireland game on Tuesday in London.
