Lopez rescues road point for Lyon

Lisandro Lopez struck to earn Lyon a 1-1 draw from their trip to fellow European hopefuls Rennes.
Rennes had looked set to move within two points of Lyon after taking a fifth-minute lead through Mevlut Erding but they were pegged back by Lopez's leveller 14 minutes from time.
The result sees Lyon climb into fourth place above Toulouse on goal difference, with Rennes remaining in seventh spot.
Lyon were the form team coming into the match with nine points from their last three games compared to just one for Rennes during the same period, but it was the home side who started much the better tonight.
Erding had already tested Hugo Lloris in the third minute with a thumping header before the Turkey international put Rennes ahead after bringing down Julien Feret's left-wing cross and firing home.
Jonathan Pitroipa, who was involved in both of those attacks, then came within inches of doubling Rennes' lead in the seventh minute when he charged into the area before crashing a thunderous shot against the post.
Rennes continued to dominate the chances and in the 36th minute Kevin Theopile-Catherine almost capitalised on a poor clearance from Lyon defender Dejan Lovren only to see his effort go just wide.
Rennes were back on the attack in the second half and two minutes after the restart Erding drew another good save out of Lloris with a side-footed volley.
At that stage Frederic Antonetti's side were looking good value for the win, but Lyon finally got into gear to salvage a point.
Bafetimbi Gomis almost drew the visitors level in the 73rd minute but, after chesting down the ball inside the area, he fired straight at home keeper Benoit Costil.
Costil was left with no chance three minutes later though as Lyon made it 1-1.
Bastos free-kick fell to Lisandro 10 yards out and although his stunning volley struck the post the rebound came back to him and he was able to turn it in from close range.
Both teams went in search of a winner in the closing stages but Lyon substitute Jeremy Pied and Rennes forward Feret saw their long-range efforts saved as the points were shared.
