Liverpool has given 18-year-old fullback Jack Robinson a long-term contract.
The 18-year-old left back has played five first-team matches, four of them under current manager Kenny Dalglish. His debut came in May 2010 in Rafa Benitez's final match in charge and made him the Premier League club's youngest ever first-team player at 16 years, 250 days.
Robinson says ''there was no doubt in my mind'' that he wanted to sign the deal, despite being kept out of the team this season by new signing Luis Enrique.
