LEVERKUSEN, Germany (AP) Bayer Leverkusen has signed Germany under-19 captain Jonathan Tah from Bundesliga rival Hamburger SV.
Leverkusen says Tah signed a deal through June 2020.
Kicker reports Hamburg was paying 7.5 million euros ($8.2 million) for the 19-year-old defender.
Tah says, ''Bayer is a super club and I believe I can take the next step here.''

Tah, who spent last season on loan at second-division Fortuna Duesseldorf, is the latest player to switch from Hamburg to Leverkusen following the transfers of Son Heung-min and Hakan Calhanoglu in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
