Inter Milan is in touch with Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa as a possible replacement for Leonardo, who has been linked to a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Inter President Massimo Moratti announced the moves on Wednesday following days of speculation that Leonardo might leave the Serie A club to take up a general director post at PSG.

Moratti said Leonardo had ''a lot of good will and passion'' as coach, but added that ''this certainly isn't his aspiration for the future.''

''It's best that he follow that aspiration and that we look for a new coach,'' Moratti said on Inter's website. However, he added, ''it's always possible that Leonardo changes his mind, and so do we.''

Gazzetta dello Sport said on Wednesday that Leonardo went to Doha for talks with officials of Qatar Sports Investments, which recently acquired a 70 percent ownership stake in PSG. The report said a decision on Leonardo's future might come as soon as Thursday.

Moratti said there had been preliminary contacts with Bielsa, a former coach of Argentina and Chile, though he wasn't directly involved. He had previously denied any such contacts.

Inter won the Italian Cup this season.
