Nene scored both goals in Paris Saint-Germain's 2-0 victory over Dijon on Sunday to help his team keep a three-point lead in the French league.
The Brazilian midfielder converted a cross from Jeremy Menez in the 42nd minute and doubled the lead in the 90th with a long-range strike.
Meanwhile, Rennes beat mid-table Auxerre 1-0 to climb to provisional third place ahead of defending champion Lille's game against Lyon later Sunday.
Rennes midfielder Julien Feret took a pass from Razak Boukari on a counterattack to beat goalkeeper Olivier Sorin in the 74th.
